If you disagree on using a term to express something, you will be hesitant to opine on a claim using it as such
Disagreeing with definitions used in a claim isn't orthogonal to disagreeing with the claim?

I expect potential disagreement here primarily to come down to how you interpret "orthogonal". I wouldn't call something orthogonal because in some cases you can do one independent of the other. I would expect them to be independent in the majority of cases. –

If one thing is inhibited by another, both shouldn't be called "orthogonal" to one another
