The distance someone walks in one direction can inhibit the distance they walk in an orthogonal direction
If one thing is inhibited by another, both shouldn't be called "orthogonal" to one another?

The ability for directions to be orthogonal to one another does not imply walking in different direction can be orthogonal to one another –
